2014-2016, Investigation of Climate Change Mechanism by Observation and Simulation of Polar Climate for The Past and Present / Kim, Seong-Joong
- Principal Investigator
- Kim, Seong-Joong
- Project Period
- The purpose of this study is to understand the mechanisms of climate change in the Antarctica and the Arctic through collaborative efforts between teams responsible for glaciers, atmospheric observation, and modeling, to conduct the reconstruction of past climate change records using ice core data, the quantification of current climate change using observations from the Arctic and the Antarctic base stations, and the application of such observational data to numerical models.
