| dc.description.abstract | 오늘날 세계적으로 환경변화 및 기후변화에 대응하기 위해 극지에 대한 관심이 증가하고 남극, 북극 단일지역 연구에서 벗어나 양극해 통합연구와 활용을 위한 국제적 경쟁이 심화되고 가속화되고 있다. 양극 해양환경 웹GIS(이하 p-WebGIS)는 남극과 북극해역에서 일어나는 다양한 환경변화 및 해저환경 주제도를 활용하고 공유하기 위한 시스템이다. 이를 위해 극지연구소에서 운영하고 있는 쇄빙연구선 아라온을 통해 획득한 30여종류의 양극해 해수(수층) 및 해정환경정보(해양물리/화학/생물/지질)에 대한 GIS 데이터베이스를 구축하고 웹기반 GIS를 구축함으로써 사용자가 필요로하는 해수(수층) 및 해저환경 정보에 대한 접근성을 높이고 효율적인 자료의 검색, 정보의 확인 및 전세계의 극지해양 연구자들간의 정보 공유 기능을 구현하였다. 또한 현장관측자료의 입출력 기능을 구현하여 구축된 데이터를 극지 현장연구에서도 활용이 가능하게하여 현장연구의 편의성 제고 및 연구활동 활성화를 증대시켰으며, 시스템을 통해 가시화가 이루어지는 환경주제도를 지도집 형태로 출력 가능하게 구현하였다 | - |
