Pacific Arctic Climate Ecosystem Observatory: Physical oceanography activities

Abstract

In the 2018 ARAON cruise, we carried out CTD castings at 27 stations and XCTDs at 30 stations between the CTD casting.s We successfully recovered 5 moorings and newly deployed 2 moorings in the CBL and NR. Now we are analyzing the ADCP and hydrography data. The two moorings is continued to work from last year, so we expect to obtain twoyear round timeseries next year in this complicated area where several water masses are convergent, generating different structure.
