Abstract
Essential oils are volatile compounds that commonly used in aromatherapy, personal care products, and medicinal purposes due to their various health benefits and aromatic qualities. However, only one report on essential oils from the genus Ramalina has been studied so far. To the best our knowledge, there are no reports on chemical compositions of essential oils from the lichen, R. peruviana. Here, we describe for the first time the chemical analysis on essential oils extracted from R. peruviana, together with its antimicrobial activity.
