dc.description.abstract | The Asian monsoon for the mid-Holocne and the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) was simulated using the NCAR CCM3 climate model, which has a high-resolution (~ 75 km) to reproduce the Asian monsoon reasonable well. In summer, the simulated Asian monsoon appears to be stronger during the mid-Holocene, whereas it is weaker in the LGM. On the other hand, in winter, the Asian monsoon appears to be stronger in both periods, in consistent with paleoclimate proxy records. | - |
