Abstract
-
Glacial erratics containing sparse spores and pollen derived from a suite of glaciogene strata hidden beneath the Antarctic Ice Sheet have been found in the Grove Mountains, east of the Lambert Glacier dranage system, Antarctica. We suggest that the occurrence of these pollen assemblages present new evidence for a large scale glacial retreat event in the Grove Mountains
