- Abstract
- 남극 남쉐틀랜드 군도 깁스섬에 분포하는 초염기성암의 성인규명과 남쉐틀랜드군도 진화사를 이해하기 위 해 초염기성암에 대한 지구화학 연구를 수행하였다. 감람석과 첨정석의 광물조성과 Sr-Pb 동위원소 조성으 로부터 깁스섬 감람암은 전호기원의 잔류맨틀암석인것으로 해석된다. 남극 대륙 주변부의 지구조운동 진화 사로 판단하거네 깁스섬 감람암은 알루크판의 섭입과정과 동반되어 생성된 잔류맨틀일 것으로 추정된다.맨틀암석인것으로 해석된다. 남극 대륙 주변부의 지구조운동 진화 사로 판단하거네 깁스섬 감람암은 알루크판의 섭입과정과 동반되어 생성된 잔류맨틀일 것으로 추정된다.
