Abstract
-
The dust in snow is insoluble mineral particles which are fractions of the atmospheric
aerosol that have been deposited on the surface of the cold regions along with the
falling snow. The dust size distribution of the mineral particles interval 2 to 60 ㎛
radius has been measured in snow pit collected from the East Rongbuk Glacier on the
northeastern slope of Mt. Everest in the central Himalaya. The study of dust record in
snow provide new information to investigate on the climate change.
